Texas Borders Bar & Grill was founded by Kellie Messer in 1996 with one big idea: bring together the best flavors from around Texas's borders. A little All-American, a little Cajun, a little South of the Border—served with great service and an upbeat vibe.

Kellie grew up in New Orleans, where her love for food and hospitality came from her grandmother, Mary Francis, a lifelong restaurateur. After years working at local favorites like Pappasito's and Houston's Restaurant, she opened Texas Borders—and never looked back.
